Weekend highlights:
Friday afternoon was perfect for a bike ride and park play! E loved the tire swing and slide and even left his sunglasses on for more than 3.2 seconds! Score!
Saturday we packed the car and headed to Palatka for some weekend funsies. My mom and I were scheduled to go to a wedding in Gainesville while Mike and E stayed with the rest of the fam.
Everett loves to explore all around Gransie’s riverfront and had a blast on the “bridge”.
He also had tons of fun in his “new” car (we found it for $5 at a garage sale) and my old toys (actually, my cousins and I all used these growing up). How adorable is the xylophone?
Saturday afternoon my mom and I headed to the wedding of a childhood friend of mine, Megan. Our parents actually met at Lamaze classes and our moms still remain close to this day.
The wedding between Megan and Mauricio was so sweet and the reception was beautiful.
The venue, The Wooly, was the old Woolworth Building in downtown Gainesville and had such a cool vibe. It was the perfect space for their celebration with yummy food and delicious drinks.
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Filedelfo!
Sunday morning started with a 4 mile bridge run, followed by a trip to Palm Coast to visit with my Aunt Dawnie and Uncle Clay. They have a BEAUTIFUL house on a canal and luckily the weather made it feel like paradise.
Boat rides, kayaking, dolphin sighting, margaritas, beer, absolutely delicious food and most of all, excellent company.
E had a blast, but was SOOOO exhausted by the end of the weekend.
Tired baby = success!
