First of all, TGIF! We are headed out of town for some fun and relaxation this afternoon and I.can’t.wait. But until then, a little bit of boot talk.
I was a boot virgin until last winter. I always loved how they looked on other people, but never owned a pair. I don’t know what I was waiting for! Boots not only look trendy and sexy, but they make you feel like a million bucks anytime you put them on.
The problem is, it is technically still winter here in Florida and it feels like the end of spring. It’s too warm to wear my boots with jeans during the day and I refuse to give up my winter boot rights just yet. So what is a girl to do?
Well, just recently, I have started wearing them mostly with skirts and dresses, with and without leggings and absolutely love the look! They are 100% more comfortable than high heels and add a bit of pizazz to any ordinary outfit. Try it out!
I wear my boots at least 1-2 times a week. My first pair were the darker ones in the picture and have a zipper up the side. My newest pair, the camel colored ones, are pull up and just as easy to put on.
I bought both of them online, which can be tricky, but I would recommend looking on a site like Zappos.com or 6pm.com for some guidance. They have a video of every product they sell on the website, with real people modeling the shoes. This is a great tool to give you an idea of the height and look of each boot. Happy shopping!
